Video Editor (Expression of Interest)

The video footage you’ll be editing is standard vlog-style content
You will regularly be getting raw video files delivered to you, along with the attached instructions, and it’s your job to turn that raw, unedited video into a finished product for social media. This includes:
Cutting the video up (we explain what this means in detail below)
Adding subtitles (these will not be provided)
Adding a bar/caption up top and emoji/clip art/illustrations in video for effects
Creating a custom thumbnail for the first frame of the video, as well as add the png file to go with the final mp4 ‘
Expectations:
Videos are edited in a timely manner.
You adhere to deadlines given.
You communicate your availability each week and work with me to ensure my videos are edited by the deadlines.
You communicate any issues or challenges to me as soon as they come up.

We are looking for someone who can

1+ years of experience in digital content creation & social media video creation
Extensive knowledge of final cut pro or adobe premiere
Creative mindset
Has huge passion for being the best in their profession
Always looking to grow & expand their skills
Can think on their feet and is a natural problem solver
Has never missed a deadline (understands deadline is important)
Can work autonomously and as part of a team
